Le poste de Senior / Lead Engineer Central Process chez OQ vise à diriger l’ingénierie des processus au sein de leur unité de raffinerie à Oman. Ce rôle clé englobe la développement, l’implémentation et l’amélioration continue des activités d’ingénierie des processus, avec un accent particulier sur l’optimisation et l’efficacité.
Responsabilités principales
Les responsabilités incluent :
- Optimisation des processus : Analyser les performances des processus tels que la distillation et le craquage, en recherchant des moyens de réduire les coûts et de maximiser la production.
- Coordination des actions d’ingénierie : Assurer que les équipes respectent les exigences techniques et que les projets sont exécutés conformément aux normes d’ingénierie les plus élevées.
- Gestion budgétaire : Avoir une vue d’ensemble sur les budgets OPEX et CAPEX, tout en signalant toute possibilité de dépassement des coûts.
- Collaboration inter-départementale : Interagir avec plusieurs départements, y compris la maintenance et les opérations, afin de minimiser les temps d’arrêt.

Exigences de formation et expérience
Pour candidater à ce poste, un Baccalauréat en ingénierie chimique ou équivalent est requis. Les candidats doivent également posséder :
- Un minimum de 6 ans d’expérience en tant qu’ingénieur senior, avec des responsabilités croissantes sur au moins 8 ans dans l’industrie pétrolière et gazière.
- Une compétence avérée dans l’optimisation des opérations et le support technologique, y compris la maîtrise des logiciels de gestion tels que SAP et PI.
- Un niveau avancé de l’anglais ; la maîtrise de l’arabe est un atout.

- Compétences techniques : Capacité à interpréter des dessins techniques et à fournir des solutions adaptées aux défis d’ingénierie.

📝 Description du poste : Job titleSenior/ Lead Engineer Central ProcessGradeStreamCommercial & Downstream – RPIFunctionAssets Development – Process Engineering – Central ProcessLocationOman – TBDBudget control*OPEX and/or CAPEX and/or Revenue amount as relevant*Reporting toTeam Lead Central Process EngineeringDirect reports–Job Purpose:Lead Central Process Engineering at RPI under TL Central Process Engineering’s scope, for the development, implementation and continuous improvement of process engineering-based activities acting as Senior Matter Expert of Process Optimization standards through: (1) Lead the delivering of Engineering processes services & initiatives at RPI assets including programming, coordination and follow up to ensuring that the works are done effectively; in order to deliver effective process engineering solutions and meet the technical requirements to ensure that projects and service actions, tasks and targets are achieved efficiently with the highest engineering standards to optimize operational and business performance, productivity and in turn profitability conception to completion on time, within budget, and to a high standardThe position will act in accordance with the Group’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines, and standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani’s government & other legal justifications, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives.Main Tasks and Responsibilities:Scope:Process Optimization: The systematic approach of analyzing data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to optimize production (improving efficiency and effectiveness) of various processes including distillation, cracking, hydrotreating, reforming, and blending, among others, to improve their performance by minimizing energy consumption, reducing operating costs, and maximizing production.Accountabilities:Central Process Engineering (CoE):Lead the Engineering processes and procedures implementation to assure that the team completes the technical assessments, recommendations, tasks and activities as per objectives and ensures that the technical support requirements for all the Maintenance and operations assets are performed in a timely manner in order to minimise the down time.Cooperates on contract management, interacting with the Vendors/ OEM management, coordination with Engineering/ Assets Development/ Inspection, FATs & SATs support, RCM Management, HAZOP, and other departments,Provides input into the assigned budget for the department and advises on red flag budget over spend.Identifies and execute opportunities to optimize operations within and across process units or equipment.Supervises and verify design work performed by internal/ external engineering resources, which results in process optimization.Prepare data for Heat and Material Balances, Process Flow Diagrams, designs minor plant modifications and follows through to the project completion.Review details of the refinery turn around process scope of work.Analyses the documentation related to Scope of Work for MOC (Management of Change) requests raised for process improvement.Performs Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and proposes corrective actions for performance improvement.Participates in HAZOP studies for any modification of existing facilities/plants.Gather preliminary documents for tender submissions.Prepare technical procedures in line with modifications and new systems implemented.Resolves issues that have a direct operational business impact, using problem-solving tools and techniques and balancing multiple considerations (e.g. economic, operating, maintenance, technical).Analysis the design, analysis or findings of engineer’s analyses data and identifies opportunities to optimize operations within and across process units or equipment.Recommends improvements to department procedures so that all procedures are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost effective service ultimately managing budget and quality control.Monitoring:Monitoring and executing process engineering Services to look after short to long term plant solutions, RCAs & FMEAs, spare parts reviews & optimizations, Area Reliability Committee involvements, PM reviews, TA scopes, cost optimizationCoaching & Guidance:Provides coaching and guidance to develop technical engineering strength within the Refinery technology.Provides technical support and guidance to the operating team on daily basis and longer term based on operating tactics and demands in order to ensure that all staff can complete their tasks and responsibilities.Internal: Operators, Shift supervisor, Maintenance Coordinator, Process Trainer, Technical Services Department, Engineer production.
